The Cost
What really determines the cost of a gown is not so much the designer's fee, but
the choice of fabric - taffeta, silk, French lace, etc. Because of the favourable
exchange rate between the South African 'rand' and British 'sterling', Gert's prices
are very reasonable compared to what you would normally expect to pay.
Wedding dress
prices start at £2,000 - this includes everything - all the appointments and fittings
with Gert himself, plus the development of the dress. A 50% deposit is required on
confirmation of the order, and the remaining 50% on collection of your dress.
